5 Minute Skincare Routine
The most important part of having a skincare routine is: finding the time to implement your routine.
Let’s face it, life gets in the way of — a lot, skincare included. Good news is, you don’t have to spend hours in the mirror just to give your skin a little TLC. Everyone’s skin is different, yes. But, one thing is for certain — there’s a skincare routine especially for you.
What makes a good skincare routine?
It’s simple, really! Cleanse, tone, moisturize. Glow.
STEP 1: CLEANSE.
Whether you’re just waking up in the morning or washing the day away. One of the first and most important steps in your skincare routine is to cleanse. Washing your face helps to free your skin of dirt and grime picked up throughout the day and night. And if you’re looking to kick it up a notch, try a gentle exfoliating cleanser. Our Glycolic Foaming Cleanser is the perfect 2-in-1 face wash.
STEP 2: TONE.
Sure, your dermatologist suggests this step and they’re right! Here’s why: toning is just as equally important as cleansing, as it aids in not only soothing the skin. But, it also helps with thoroughly cleansing the pores of any excess oils and debris. For a quick and mess-free application, simply spray once on each side of the face and allow the toner to absorb on its own. If you have a little extra time, feel free to use a cotton pad. Whatever your preference, our toners are sure to leave your skin refreshed.
STEP 3: SERUM.
Like toners, depending on the ingredients, serums have a variety of benefits that provide a little extra TLC to the skin. All it takes is a few dropplets to reveal a supple, revitalized complexion. Pro tip: apply your serums before moisturizing. Instead of rubbing, gently pat into the skin to avoid irritation.
STEP 4: MOISTURIZE.
Contrary to popular belief, whether oily or dry — your skin needs hydration, and we have the perfect light-weight moisturizers for your skin type. Your moisturizer can be applied after your toner or serum. NOLA tip: While your toner is still damp on the face, or before your serum has completely absorbed. Apply a small amount of your moisturizer, it will spread. And instead of you going through a whole jar of Hydra Moisturizer, you’ll get a few extra months of use!
And there you have it; quick, easy — effective!
What does your everyday skin care routine consist of? We’d love to hear about it.
