Had I known this was a fake tan in a jar, I wouldn't have bought it.
Nowhere in the description did I see anything about this scrub actually making you look like you have a streaky bottle tan, à la 2002. This product should be marketed as reddish brown body makeup.
This exfoliating scrub stained my newly reglazed & pristine white bathtub, my new decorative shower tile, shower curtains, tub mat, towel, washcloth and my body... And then stained my sleep shirt and sheets, too! All this staining even after I attempted to use castille soap to scrub it all off (the streaking on my skin was so bad, y'all! I used it all over before I realized it wouldn't rinse off)! Wouldn't recommend to anyone with light skin, or anyone who cares about their bath/shower or textiles. My skin is soft, though... But all the mess and seemingly uncleanable staining in my newly renovated bathroom is definitely NOT worth it. (I was able to get the stains out of my white shower curtains, sheets, clothes and towels with a vinegar-water soak... Everything else seems ruined.)
Nola: please update the description of this product to let folks know what they're actually buying, or consider making a version without all the staining pigments. Love all my other Nola products, but this was such a surprisingly upsetting experience.
